The production of Philips' stainless steel kettle bodies highlighted a need to test the quality of the joint between the kettle body and heating plate.
This machine was designed to allow batch testing of kettle bodies but also had sufficient test speed to allow short runs to be 100% tested in production.
Easily replaceable tooling jigs allow a range of products to be tested.
Leaks can be detected in less than 5 seconds, down to as little as 2 cc per min.
The system is currently operating in Belgium.
