An Oil bottling plant in China required an in line leak test for the oil canisters which were blow moulded on site and passed by conveyor to the filling systems.

The specification called for a go - no go test that would be 'transparent' to the production process.

The solution chosen was a gang tester using pressure decay that could provide this indication within 4 seconds. Four bottles were tested at a time, any defects being ejected from the main conveyor path.

The system has fully adjustable pass and fail criteria and can be networked to a central control.
